Today was my first appointment with Dr. Gutierrez and my first dental appointment in about three years (I know—not great). I was very nervous and in pain. Everyone I interacted with at the office was so kind. The hygienist—Britney, I think—was amazing and really good at making you forget that you’re doing something you don’t want to be doing. The doctor was great at explaining everything and also at explaining what needed to be taken care of today versus what I could put off for a little bit longer. I felt like he was understanding of the cost and need to budget for that while also being honest from a health perspective. Both he and the hygienist seemed to really care about getting me out of pain. The staff as a whole made a big impression on me. I feel like I’ve found my dentist and I’m really thankful that I went in today!
